How VEDART RS® works

It’s a digital geological exploration technique with thorough analysis to identify commercially viable areas and assess the ore potential of the areas through Earth's Remote Sensing Data.

It includes:

  • Historical data on the structure of the area;
  • Reconstruction of the genetic model of ore potential;
  • Analysis of current satellite imagery in various frequency ranges;
  • Morphostructural studies and modeling.

We apply advanced methods of Multispectral Data Analysis and thermal field analysis to identify characteristic anomalies related to hidden ore areas. We also use an enhanced approach to constructing a Digital Elevation Model and conducting morphometric modeling.Tectonic structures and zones of active geological processes are identified to localize mineral deposits, using Satellite Data Analysis.

«Based on the project needs, both public images from Sentinel and Landsat, along with high-resolution images from commercial satellites like WorldView, are applied. This strategy ensures operational efficiency, accuracy, and rich informational content in the research».

We process data in the infrared and thermal ranges — these spectra are sensitive to changes in rock composition and hidden geological structures. The VEDART RS® technology includes computer-based classification of geological data and recognition algorithms to detect subtle and hidden signs of ore potential that traditional methods often miss.

Cross-referencing data from multiple sources provides a comprehensive view of the area, necessary for identifying priority areas.

As a result, the Client receives finalized materials: a map of prospective areas and processed data in GIS format.
This enables immediate integration into geographic information systems for analysis, visualization, and further planning.

Kazakhstan — evaluation of ore potential.
A comprehensive evaluation of ore potential was carried out using VEDART RS® technology over an area of 630 km².

As a result:

  • 3 ore-bearing zones with different mineralization types were identified;
  • 5 concealed mineralized areas were detected;
  • 5 priority areas were defined for subsequent exploration.

Based on the obtained data, рrecommendations were developed for drilling 17 boreholes to refine structural interpretations and confirm the predicted deposits.

Eastern Kazakhstan — Evaluation of Ore Potential.
A comprehensive evaluation of ore potential was carried out using VEDART RS® technology over an area of 500 km².

As a result:

  • 13 prospective ore-bearing areas have been identified:
  • Gold-bearing beresites;
  • Copper-porphyry deposits;
  • Metasomatites with Au, Cu, Zn, and Ag mineralization;
  • Within these areas, 23 high-potential locations were determined.

Based on the obtained data, recommendations has been developed for drilling of 30 boreholes in order to refine structural interpretations and confirm the predicted deposits.

A comprehensive evaluation of ore potential was carried out using VEDART RS® technology over an area of 2300 km².

As a result:

  • Identified 5 predictive areas featuring different ore formation types;
  • 8 concealed mineralized areas were detected;
  • 11 priority areas were defined for subsequent exploration.

Based on the obtained data, recommendations has been developed for drilling of 63 boreholes in order to refine structural interpretations and confirm the predicted deposits.
